Oyinda Akinyemi is a seasoned investment banker and chartered accountant with over two decades of experience shaping equity capital markets across Africa. Graduating with First-Class Honours in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, she began her career in business consulting before moving into investment banking, where she has built an exceptional track record of landmark transactions and strategic leadership.

As Head of Equity Capital Markets for Africa Regions at Standard Bank Group — Africa's largest bank by total assets — Oyinda oversees the origination and execution of capital-raising and listing transactions across multiple African countries outside South Africa. She also serves as Executive Director of Stanbic IBTC Capital, Nigeria's leading investment banking institution.

A respected voice in capital markets development, Oyinda contributes to several industry initiatives. She currently serves as Chairperson of the Listings Working Group of the Securities & Exchange Commission, Nigeria. She is a member of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Beyond banking, Oyinda is passionate about financial literacy and empowerment. She is the convener of the annual Money Matters Conference, a premier platform that equips individuals, professionals, and entrepreneurs with the knowledge and strategies to build wealth, navigate economic change, and create lasting impact. She recently launched Global Credit Access Blueprint, which helps non-US residents build a financial profile that grants them access to the US financial and credit system.
